After watching this video about sketch note, I feel that Bill Verplank is a very interesting old man. Because my English is not very good, in order to better understand the content of this hour’s video, so I searched for information about him on the Internet. Below is a recent interview.

This is the website, if you can see it.
Interaction design in the 21st century will be a challenge, because almost everything we interact with (and everyone) will have a computer in it.
I have been thinking, how can I use the best-understood language to explain clearly to someone who has no concept of interaction design what the hell is interaction design?
For example: Interaction design is like you interact with the vending machine in front of the automatic beverage vending machine according to predetermined rules and actions.
Me: I want a drink
Vending machine: You choose a drink I have
Me: I want to drink Coca-Cola
Vending machine: the price is 3 yuan, please insert a coin of 3 yuan
Me: coin 3 yuan
Vending machine: verified and shipped
In the video, what designers should pay attention to is how do you do/feel/know? That is how do you influence the world, how do you receive feedback from the world, and how do we design interactions involving computers?
Change the world with buttons = I can grab the whole world and manipulate it (grab the product and turn)
This is the world of leverage, the world of constant control
The button is to control the world indirectly
The above blog thoughts are all from the video below.
